Openhandle provides public social media data through one API for developers, teams, and agents.

## What Openhandle does

Openhandle returns public profiles, posts, comments, and metrics from Instagram, TikTok, and X in one response format. Developers use the API for social listening, creator analytics, and monitoring. Responses include a capture time and a source so applications can distinguish cached data from live data. Missing metrics remain unknown instead of becoming misleading zeros.

## Public data and accountability

The service reads public data. It never likes, follows, posts, or messages on a social account. Our [public data notice](/legal/public-data-notice) explains these limits and how account owners can request blocking.
