## How billing works.

1. **Start free.** Get a key. You get 100 real requests and as many test requests as you want. No card needed.
2. **Add a card and set your cap.** After your free 100, add a card and pick a monthly spending cap. We stop before you hit it.
3. **Pay for answers, afterwards.** We charge your card when unpaid usage reaches your billing threshold, or at month-end. Every charge includes an invoice.

Billed: A successful answer, A private profile, A confirmed not-found, A 24-hour or 7-day cache hit.
Free: 30-day cache hits, Provider errors, Our errors, Invalid input, Rate limited, Over your cap.

## FAQ

### What counts as one request?

One answered lookup. A profile, a post, one page of posts, or one page of comments. Every page counts as its own request.

### What do cached answers cost?

30-day cached answers are free. A 24-hour cache hit costs $0.0005, and a 7-day hit costs $0.0001. Every response shows its source and capture time.

### What happens on a cache miss?

If we do not have a fresh enough answer, we fetch it live and charge the live price. We then cache it for later requests.

### Do I get an invoice?

Yes, every charge comes with one. Dutch companies pay 21% VAT. EU companies with a valid VAT ID pay no VAT, it is reverse charged. Outside the EU there is no VAT.

### Can I pay without a card?

Not right now. You pay by card through Stripe. If you need millions of requests, ask us about paying by invoice.

### Is there a minimum or a subscription?

No. If you make zero requests, you pay zero. Nothing to renew and nothing that expires.

### I need millions of requests a month.

Email us. A real person will reply and set you up with a better rate on a monthly invoice.
