ScrapeCreators vs SocialFetch
Two credit-pack social data APIs that share a price point but split on normalization, ops transparency, and endpoint depth.

ScrapeCreators and SocialFetch both sell social data through non-expiring credit packs, and (a genuine coincidence) both charge exactly $47 for 25,000 credits. The split is elsewhere. ScrapeCreators goes deeper per platform with free cached results and per-platform payloads. SocialFetch normalizes one schema across 21 platforms and publishes its operational behavior: uptime, response times, and what gets billed on failure.

Pricing
At the shared $47 tier the two are identical: 25,000 credits, one credit per call, no expiry. Above that they diverge. ScrapeCreators' $497 pack lands at ~$0.99 per 1k against SocialFetch's ~$1.64 at $379 for 230,000, and ScrapeCreators lists enterprise pricing past a million credits. Below it, SocialFetch's $14 entry pack is expensive per unit at $14 per 1k.
Two mechanics matter beyond the sticker. ScrapeCreators serves cached results free, which rewards workloads that re-read the same targets. SocialFetch instead defines billing on failure: infrastructure errors cost nothing, while a confirmed not-found is billed. Its optional subscription shaves 8% off the cheapest pack rate, but those credits reset monthly rather than rolling over.
Payloads and operations
ScrapeCreators returns payloads close to each platform's own shapes, so parsing is per-platform work; its depth shows in counts like 22 TikTok and 19 Instagram endpoints. SocialFetch flattens everything into one normalized schema, and is unusually explicit about operations: published uptime, an average live-fetch time, a request ID on every response, and change monitors with signed webhooks. ScrapeCreators publishes none of that, leaning on founder-led direct support instead. Neither holds SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
