Credit packs against pay-per-request: two developer-focused social scraping APIs compared on price, depth, and limits.
Checked August 2026 · public pricing pages · no affiliate links
ScrapeCreators and TikHub both sell raw social data to developers with pay-as-you-go pricing and no subscriptions. ScrapeCreators is broader across Western platforms with flat one-credit pricing. TikHub is deeper on TikTok and Douyin with cheaper per-request rates and more endpoints. The right pick mostly follows your platform mix.
Figures from public pricing pages, August 2026.
Pricing
TikHub's headline rate is roughly half of ScrapeCreators' at every volume: $0.001 per request falling to $0.0005 with automatic daily volume discounts, against ScrapeCreators' ~$0.00188 falling to ~$0.00099 in its largest listed pack. ScrapeCreators counters with two mechanics: credits never expire, and cached results cost nothing. A workload that re-reads the same profiles can close the gap; a firehose of unique lookups will not.
Coverage
ScrapeCreators covers more of the Western social stack in one key: LinkedIn, Facebook, Threads, Reddit, transcripts, and ad libraries alongside TikTok and Instagram. TikHub covers fewer platforms but goes deeper, including Douyin, the Chinese TikTok, which almost no Western competitor touches, and exposes over a thousand endpoints.
Neither normalizes across platforms: both return payloads close to each platform's internal shapes, so your parsing is per-platform on either.
