EnsembleData and Data365 both sell multi-platform social data through subscriptions rather than pay-as-you-go. EnsembleData meters daily units on self-serve plans; Data365 sells monthly credit contracts with a sales-led onboarding. The choice is mostly about volume shape and how you like to buy.

The metering models
EnsembleData resets your quota daily. A plan is a per-day allowance, not a monthly pool. That suits steady pipelines that pull a similar volume every day. It punishes bursty workloads: unused units tonight are gone at midnight UTC, and a spike day hits your daily ceiling no matter how quiet yesterday was.
Data365 sells a monthly credit pool, so bursts average out across the month. But credits are priced per request type (a profile costs 9 credits where a post costs 1), so a profile-heavy workload consumes the pool nine times faster than the headline number suggests.
For both vendors, translate your real workload into their units before comparing: requests per endpoint per day, times unit cost, against the plan.
Coverage and depth
EnsembleData is strongest on TikTok, with Instagram and YouTube as the other main pillars; its endpoints return rich per-platform payloads. Data365 positions itself around uniform access to up to seven networks with a consistent request/credit structure. Neither offers one normalized schema across platforms; plan for per-platform parsing on both.
